Book Restoration (Non-Refundable Deposit)

Have an old book of sentimental value needing TLC?

I can provide simple restorations, including rebinding, page repair, preservation. I charge by the hour (£20) to a maximum of £100, and require a £20 non-refundable deposit. Prefer to see the book before I take on a project — via video call or emailed photos or in person for locals. Postage: customer responsible for getting items to me; I am responsible for return. Invoice for outstanding amount will be raised separately.

Photos are from a bible restoration completed in 2024. Client wanted to preserve the inscription so I used glassine paper for the flyleaves. While I was able to preserve the covers intact, the pages needed to be shaved and reblocked. Some page tears repaired.
